Referendum consultation one month on – have you had your say?

Bruce CrawfordIt’s now been one month since we launched the Your Scotland, Your Referendum consultation into how Scotland’s independence referendum should be run.

It’s been a busy month with Civic Scotland, Age Concern, Electoral Reform Society, young people other politicians – including the Prime Minister all getting involved in the debate.

The First Minister has also had productive meetings with party leaders at Holyrood and both the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Prime Minister.

We’ve had a good response so far with over 2,500 people giving us their views.

But now is the time to have your say. We want to know your views on what the question should be? Should there be two questions on the ballot paper? Should 16 and 17 year olds who are on the register be able to vote? How can we make voting easier? Should the vote be held on a Saturday?

It’s easy, you can do it online and it won’t take you long. But it’s your chance to make your voice heard in what will be the most important decision Scotland has made in 300 years.
